Colmar

At first, rain was predicted for the whole day. Nevertheless, a short detour to Colmar you can do, if it’s nothing, you can always go back.

The first surprise was “great weather”. As if someone had sawed a hole in the clouds above Colmar. Superb, that leaves itself already well.

This morning was weekly market, outside the daily open market hall from the 19th century. Culinary Colmar is with absolute certainty also a highlight.

The second surprise was the town itself. Rarely seen such a perfectly integrated historic center with modernity in the stores. It all fits together wonderfully. In addition, we were fortunately there before the tourist buses. After about 1h it was then full.
