Between 150€ and 250€ costs a normal traffic sign incl. post and mounting. Doesn’t sound sooo much, but if you push it to the extreme, then it adds up quickly. The shown here is by no means an isolated case and certainly someone comes along and babbles some reason, but does not change the fact […]

During a bike ride on Monday I had several opportunities to do some flying, despite strong winds. Three times from the backcountry, so to speak…
So, here we go. The 108 page photo book about the northern Cuxland. As a supplement to the photo guide Photography in Cuxland comes here as a picture book with a little bit of writing. The quality is good, even if a few shots could have been printed a little brighter. The book binding itself […]
First test of the iFootage Shark Slider Nano. Here a timelapse at the ferry port with the Fuji X-T20 and the 18-55mm at 18mm focal length. The slider runs excellent. Very quiet and does exactly what has been programmed. Operation is simple and fast. All settings are made quickly thanks to the built-in interface. […]
Ordered on Tuesday, delivered today. The contracted printing company was not only fast but also delivered excellent quality. Only when you look closely you will notice the screening from the digital print. The colors are much better than in the test version. As of now, the booklet can be purchased or ordered at Ringfoto Schattke.

I liked the picture with the Westerhever lighthouse quite well and therefore I have made myself times on the search for suitable software for animated pictures in the cinegraph style. The results are partly amazing, but so are the image sizes and loading times with low quality and dimensions. The Goðafoss image shown above is […]
With the latest version of Lightroom Classic, the “Superresolution” feature from Photoshop has also been integrated. It has also been changed to support TIFF or other files. This now also opens up the possibility of enhancing RAW files processed with DxO PureRaw. In the 100% crop, a bit more details become visible. Of […]
Super-resolution images from Photoshop are provided by DxO in the regular resolution. The only solution is to use an external service provider to increase the resolution (e.g. GigaPixel AI, etc.). In addition, panorama DNGs from Lightroom and everything in other formats – other than Topaz DeNoise AI – are not processed as RAW or DNG. […]
