Early this morning in Balje. Light frost and hardly any wind. Although the sunrise cannot directly be seen from the position I stood, even in winter; a great sky above the lighthouse showed up. The colors in the image above have been slightly reduced in the post-production, they were a little more blatant in nature. […]

Kaiser-Wilhelm-Brücke
Here are two views of the Kaiser-Wilhelm-Brücke in Wilhelmshaven from yesterday evening. Both images were done with the D850 and the Sigma 24-105f/4 Art using a 1.8 ND-Filter.
Cuxhaven – Steubenhöft

Hamburg – Dancing Towers
Some pictures from yesterday’s Santa Pauli Christmas Market visit. I have to go for the Dancing Towers again with more time. Great architecture. Details… …and one time in full view.
Historical public bathroom
Here’s the attempt to take a picture of the historical public bathroom close to the dike at the ferry harbour in Cuxhaven.

I have to go there again; especially with a better tripod. I had decided to pack the makeshift solution; and, it really is, an absolute makeshift. Nevertheless, one or […]
Bremerhaven without colour
Two black/white pictures from Bremerhaven. The pictures were thought from the outset without color, so no subsequent “oh yes, that might work also” pictures. I have to do the Klimahaus again when the Christmas lights have been removed.
