Yesterday evening, a not so often seen phenomenon could be seen, a so-called moon halo. First I had made a few pictures with the smartphone camera, but that seemed to me not purposeful. Then I quickly set up my tripod and the X-T3 with the Fujinon 10-20.

Kugelbake
Fantastic morning and virtually no people out and about at the Kugelbake – perfect. While the X-T20 was shooting the timelapse, I took a few photos with the Fuji GFx.
Crematorium
A picture with the 20mm Voigtländer on the Fuji GFX. In 16:9 format, this works without vignetting. However, the outermost edges are quite blurry. As make-shift solution for – converted – 16mm on DSLR-Fullframe, however, still quite decent.
Cuxhaven Berensch
hort flight with the Mavic Mini. Unfortunately it was completely overcast and there the camera of the Mavic Mini can not deliver. Very muddy in the depths in such conditions. So, better not look too closely…
Cuxhaven Döse
Not nice to look at, but eventually an expensive property will be built here. Whether it will be more beautiful remains to be seen.
Oldenburg
During the bike repair I had briefly opportunity in the Oldenburg city center to make a few shots. Light was not optimal, but nevertheless.

Stormfront Thomas
Today’s stormfront was weaker than expected. A few smaller waves at high tide and that was it. Due to Corona also little was going on at the Kugelbake… …and because it was not so heavy as 3 days ago announced, the birds had also not quite so many problems with the wind.
Snow bunting
On Saturday I went to the nature reserve near the Kugelbake with the D500 and the 500 tele lens. The snow buntings should be back from what I’ve read. And, indeed, 10 birds were in the mudflats in search of food. Of course, the ruddy turnstones were there as well.
