First flight with camera using the quadcopter. The iLook camera which was included is basically a piece of crap and needs to be replaced as soon as possible to get some good results. Flying the drone isn’t as hard as I thought in the beginning. After 2 days trying things out I would feel comfortable […]

Obereversand
Cuxhaven: Obereversand
Another set from Obereversand. This time not as foggy as last time. A one hour session with the Voigtländer 58mm/f1.4 again showed brillant performance of the lens mounted to the D800. Also a three bracket HDR.
Voigtländer Nokton 58mm f1.4 SL II Testshots (second test)
Better setup this time by using a tripod to shoot the ASR Emitter amp. Not as many CAs because the sun wasn’t lightning the amp in one section. However, the amp looks quite battered in 100% 🙂 All shots done using aperture 1.4 / 1.8 / 2.8 / 4.0 / 5.6 / 7.1 / 8.0 […]
Cuxhaven
Watching the Rubber-Duck race during the Cuxhaven Butt-Fair. Not sure if our lottery number won… Using the D5100 with the Voigtländer Nokton. Pretty good quality and very small to carry around. Even the smaller viewfinder allowed for focussing together with the in-focus LED.
Voigtländer Nokton 58mm f1.4 SL II Testshots

When shooting the ASR Emitter, sun was lighting half of the amp and the white marks and logo on the black front made good contrast. Not convinced about the quality using less larger aperture than f2.8. […]
Cuxhaven
Sunset evening shots in Cuxhaven close to the Kugelbake landmark. Mainly using the Voigtländer Nokton 58/1.4 with the D800 and D3.
