Some conversions to black & white from recent Iceland trip. Here are some of my favorites, full set can be viewed by clicking on one of the embedded pictures.
The whole traveling distance I tracked with my Garmin was 5490km. Using the 2 cameras I had with me I did 4549 pictures. Main lens on the D800 was the Sigma 24-105f4 Art. With the D4 I used nearly all lenses except the Sigma Zoom. Most pictures of the Birds were shot with the D4. The EV […]
The last region we went was Höfuðborgarsvæðið, the capital region. This is mainly Reykjavík and pictures taken were only in the city. No bird shots in this region but some black & white extracts of some pictures taken.
From Austurland we got to Suðurland (Southern region). Unfortunately we arrived in Vík í Mýrdal at noon time. Bad time for good shots at the beach there and Dyrhólaey. From Ásólfsskáli we went to the places around Golden Circle and Landmannalaugar. No bird shots in this region but some black & white extracts of some pictures taken.

We went there four times (and could have gone even more as it is really amazing). Apart of that nice location Svartifoss and some glacier trips were done. Again, the bird shots taken during […]
Norðurland Eystra (Northeast region) was the fourth region we went. Stayed for 3 days in Mývatn. Although the name could imply a lot of mosquitoes there, and I have doubts that it will be, we were lucky having not seen a lot. Again, the bird shots taken during the travel are all in one folder which will get more pictures added […]
Norðurland Vestra (Northwest region) was the third region we shortly passed through on the way from Heydalur to Sauðárkrókur which was planned for an interim stay. Again, the bird shots taken during the travel are all in one folder which will get more pictures added throughout the review of the other regions. The same applies to the black & white extracts […]
The second region we passed through was Vestfirðir (Westfjords). The picture below will forward to the SmugMug folder. Again, the bird shots taken during the travel are all in one folder which will get more pictures added throughout the review of the other regions. The same applies to the black & white extracts of some pictures taken.
