I have worked on the picture from the Nature Reserve with the Milky Way once again differently. I like the warmer tone slightly better.

In the evening I went out on my bike. The actual destination was the water tower in Cuxhaven’s city centre, but the light didn’t work as well as I had thought. Via the marina area I went once more to the ferry port where again a magnificent play of colours showed up in the sky.
Yesterday evening I took the opportunity to take a panorama photo of the island Neuwerk with 70mm on Fx from Sahlenburg beach area. The single shot in 10:5 format and the panorama built of 4 images with correspondingly high resolution.

The predicted strong thunderstorm did not happen, but a heavy rain shower poured over the city and the harbour area.
Actually, I wanted to photograph the Milky Way. At full moon and ground fog a very bad idea. A hedgehog visited our garden several times in the past and looked for the food left over by the birds on the lawn. Today – finally – in better light conditions.
The 4K video is composed of 750 frames (30 frames/sec) with the Nikon D2x and the Sigma 30mm. It was a little too windy, which brings a lot of motion into the trees and bushes. Here is the setup for the video.
