I’ve been putting a little more effort into editing existing, older images lately. All the new additions to Lightroom and Photoshop in the last 12 months have given me a completely different perspective on images that I’ve been sorting out or are boring.
The picture of Sacré-Cœur de Montmartre was taken during a visit to Paris in 2011 and was not really noticed until now.
The shot of the C-47 SkyTrain aircraft on Iceland gains drama from the editing, whereas the original image looks ok, but rather lifeless.
But it doesn’t always have to be pictures slumbering on the hard disk. The picture of the planetarium was taken about 2 weeks ago. Here was then also worthwhile to create a version in color.
…werde mal prüfen, was bei mir noch so schlummert!
Das lohnt sich in jedem Fall.
