Geestland

Finally, no gray skies in Cuxland. In the morning, we took a trip through the town of Geestland. Our destinations were Ringstedt and Geestenseth.

On the way to Ringstedt, we were able to catch a seasonal glimpse of the Valenbrook manor house in Fickmühlen. This is only possible in the winter months when the trees are free of leaves.

 

In Ringstedt, I wanted to take a photo of St. Fabian Church with its impressive entrance. We’d been there once before, but the position of the sun didn’t allow it.

 

Finally, I went back to Geestenseth. I had already photographed the 1899 station there last fall, but the weather was very bad. This time the pictures turned out much better.
