In the early morning I had a short opportunity to fly with the drone at the hotel, but the wind was a bit strong.
Afterwards we spent the first part of the day walking from the hotel to Sensburg and looking around the city. A nice walk along the promenade, which, like the whole small town, is very neat and inviting.
In the St.-Trinitatis-Church most of the weddings and baptisms from my family tree took place. Unfortunately all public buildings were closed due to Covid-19. I would have liked to take a 360° inside panorama.
A short side trip to the inner city cemetery…
…and the Bismarck Tower inside was also part of the walk.
In the late afternoon we went to Szymonka to the forest cemetery. I was a bit surprised how many of these cemeteries we found.
Day-Trip
On the second day we drove about 100 kilometers through the small villages in the communities.
Not a high quality video, but it shows quite well how it looks like on site. The trips go through the villages Muntowo, Zalec, Mierzejewo, Sądry, Ryn, Stara Rudówka, Szymonka, Olzewo, Górkło.
