Nice Canolafield which was already in full blossom mid April. Just slightly too late to grab the pictures while early morning fog was still visible.

Cuxhaven: Lighthouse Obereversand
From Wikipedia: The former Eversand upper fire is now placed in Dorum-Neufeld. The height is 37.40 m above low water. It is a black, four-sided tower on grid structure, with two galleries and round lantern. The top fire Eversand was built 1886/87 on behalf of the Hanseatic City of Bremen by the AG Weser. Together with the lower […]
Cuxhaven: Hinrich-Wilhelm-Kopf caserne
Hinrich-Wilhelm-Kopf caserne. The place I spent nearly 10 years of my life for “working”. Now this has obviously gotten down. Since more than 15 years no one is there anymore and this is truly visible. Curious what happens to that huge area when they close fully down in summer this year and try to sell […]

Bremen 2014
Bremen tour A short tour through Bremen. Walking around near the old city hall, Böttcherstrasse and the Schnoor area. The Böttcherstrasse is close to the city hall. Only 100m long and has nicely restored old buildings. Worth a visit. Moving on to the Schnoor. A street in the oldest area of Bremen. Never been there […]
Bremerhaven 2014
Bremerhaven Harbour Some night shots in the harbor while a Wallenius Cargo ship was pulled in and some from opposite side of the “Klimahaus”.

Business trip from October 12th until November 1st to Englewood Cliffs. Visted Stateline Lookout, Oradell reservoir and Lake Tappan. Also took a ride to the 7 Lakes Drive and spend a nice time in Piermont. Having had a lot of pictures already added to my Travel-Blog, here are some of them combined. Bird Shots Raptors Some Bald Eagle […]

Last weekend here but again excellent weather. Early morning a short drive to Oradell but again the eagle residents are far out. On for Lake Tappan. Same old birds as always but this time lucky to spot a Northern Cardinal couple in the small trees. Another drive to Stateline Lookout but as every Sunday, […]

What a great day. Slightly cold but fantastic blue sky and clear view. First stop at Oradell Reservoir. As all the other days the birds are far out to take good pictures. One bird close by on the fence but that’s basically it. Moving on to Stateline Lookout. Also as in the last days, patience […]

First tried to get some shots at Stateline Lookout but there was nearly nothing going on there. As always some Turkey Vultures showed up. Decided to do the 7 Lakes Drive around midday. Nice scenery on the short drive there.
