From Wikipedia: The former Eversand upper fire is now placed in Dorum-Neufeld. The height is 37.40 m above low water. It is a black, four-sided tower on grid structure, with two galleries and round lantern.

The top fire Eversand was built 1886/87 on behalf of the Hanseatic City of Bremen by the AG Weser. Together with the lower light Eversand it guided the ship traffic through the Wurster arm of the outer Weser from 1887 to 1923 with a white solid fire. In 1922 the fires lost their importance for the Weser. It was still working until 1994/95 as a shelter for ship wreckers when ice drift destroyed the static foundation. In March 2003 the lighthouse was moved to Dorum-Neufeld and is now a tourist attraction.

Another day at Obereversand and another point of view. Although a bright sunny day, dense fog from the sea was blurring the scenery.
