This was probably the most violent solar storm since 2003 (as reported on the Internet). Here it was – of course as always – cloudy. There was a small chance that there would be gaps in the clouds from about 2 o’clock. So I got up at 1:30 a.m. and drove to Döse, the northernmost point of Lower Saxony.
The northern lights were already visible to the naked eye. Unfortunately, it was still quite cloudy, but at least there were a few gaps.
Around 3 o’clock, the sky began to close in again.
Tolle Bilder! Beeindruckend! Schöne Grüße aus Unna!
Vielen Dank, Sven, freut mich, daß die Aufnahmen gefallen.
