Fell out of bed early this morning. An opportunity to photograph the Orion Nebula with the small Dwarf II. So far the results were sobering. This time it worked quite well.

M42 – Orion Nebula

The image was stacked internally and then processed with Pixinsight, Photoshop and the Topaz tools. With the processing of the FITS files it has not worked for me at all so far. Since the Dwarf II only captures 1920×1280 pixels (unfortunately they still haven’t removed the binning from their software), I enlarged the resulting 1024×1024 pixel image by a factor of 5 using GigapixelAI from Topaz.
