Cuxhaven – Sandpipers

Desperately waiting to get a chance to try out the recently bought AF-S 500f4 lens. The weather today morning was nice and 2 hours left before high tide, so I went to Kugelbake and looking for some Sandpipers there. Fortunately not too many people were around and I was lucky to get some good shots.

The lens is really impressive. The lens is performing fantastic on the D4.

It is still useable (but not very good) using the TC-17II. I think the TC-14II will do much better.
