It is unbelievable how close one can get to the one owl. The other two won’t allow that. I went shortly before sunset to the site and it was amazing. Nice light although the meadow was already in the shade.
Using the D4 with FX sensor and the Sigma 150-600 S, it was sometimes too long for some shots. Unfortunately I din’t bring my 200-400 Nikkor with me…

It was actually supposed to be the Komet 12P/Pons-Brooks. But the clouds put a spanner in the works. The sky over Neuwerk, on the other hand, was largely clear.
