On day 4 we decided to run an early session at Agriturismo Terrapille for some morning shots. Having explored the area on day 3 already we knew where we wanted to go. Above shot was done with wide angle lens but main shots where using short tele-lens (I used the 90mm Voigtländer on the D800). […]

Tuscany 2017 – Day 3
Third day we decided to go to Montepulciano and spend the day there. In the morning I woke up quite early and did one round of shots close to the farmhouse. Later the day we tried Agriturismo Terrapille but the last location chosen did not work for me. So, not a lot of good […]
Tuscany 2017 – Day 2
On the second day, I wanted to concentrate mainly on the previously defined locations. Therefore, we went to the first location of my list. Before sunrise we reached the location to shoot Podere Belvedere where all photographers meet at that time (about 10 were there or arrived later). Shortly before sunrise we went to the […]
Tuscany 2017 – Day 1
After 1575 km we reached our destination, a farmhouse called Bonellino Vecchio, very late at 9pm. We definitely have chosen the right location for the stay. […]
Cuxhaven – Steubenhöft

Anyways, tried my best using the manual focus with the viewfinder and, before it started raining again, her’s a […]
Cuxhaven – Alte Liebe (using the Nikkor PC-E)
First test of the Nikkor 24mm f3.5 PC-E. As I had only my D7200 available I did only 2 images one without any tilt or shift and another one using the shift for a panorama shot (portrait mode – three images).
Cuxhaven – Alte Liebe
Skyfire had a 60% chance of nice sunrise. However, that did not happen as I thought. Anyways some morning shots of the location using the D800 and the Zeiss 18mm lens.
Cuxhaven – Sahlenburg Timelapse
Short test of the Irix f2.4 on my D800. The result was not what I was looking for and what was stated on diverse websites. I sent it back next day. While I was testing the Irix 15mm f2.4 using my D800 I started the D7200 and it do a timelapse.
