Lighthouse Balje

Early this morning in Balje. Light frost and hardly any wind. Although the sunrise cannot directly be seen from the position I stood, even in winter; a great sky above the lighthouse showed up.

The colors in the image above have been slightly reduced in the post-production, they were a little more blatant in nature. Shortly before it was a bit more subtle.

Early in the morning, before the sun rose, the sky over the fields near Balje looked promising. My first fear was that the clouds would thicken even more. Luckily this did not happen and the sky above the lighthouse turned a beautiful magenta colour.

In any case, getting up early – once again – was worth it.
