Another full day trip planned. We leave again at 6:30am and want to see another time the crossing.

On our way we get a 911 for a Cheetah having a rabbit. Unfortunately we are not early there to see the hunt.

Cheetah

A Jackal crosses our way, very nice animals. Very shy…

Jackal

Later at the crossing. Lots of cars. We don’t have a good spot and other cars are still arriving on the scene. The Wildebeest are still gathering, no move.

At the crossing

Then it suddenly starts. While taking some pictures, Jackson suddenly shouts that we can move out of the cars. All people are standing on the cliffs. Much better view.

The Crossing

Then the second row shouts to duck down so that everyone get’s a good view. I move a couple of meters forward and find a very nice spot for shooting. Jackson is nice, he grabs the D2x with the Sigma 500 from the car and hands it to me.

After the Crossing

After the crossing we drive another time to the Cheetah we saw yesterday. She’s still around and Jackson spots her (where we only see nothing:-))

We are very tired, so we are having some lunch and then move back to the camp. Some time for relaxing is needed…
