Finally some nice weather today. The first time to try out the Tamron 150-600 in good conditions. Using the D2x this time. All mounted on Berlebach UNI-16 with Arca Swiss D4. Pretty good sharpness with open aperture on this camera.

Some Macros (2014-07-04/05)
Several Red Admiral butterflies in the garden sitting on a syringa. Not sure whether I got that right. Looks like a Northern red-banded yellow jacket.
Some Macros (2014-06-25)
Again between some phone calls found some time to shoot several macros in the garden. Above bumblebee was done with ISO 1600. Quite decent quality.

Helgoland 2013
Day trip to Helgoland shooting some Northern Gannet pictures. Some Common Guillemot shots and a very close sitting Black-legged Kittiwake also made it to the Camera sensor. All shots taken with the Nikkor 200-400/f4.
Polder Glies (Nature Reserve) 2013
Testing the D7100 camera somewhere else. However, Polder Glies isn’t that much available for some close-ups.
