Clear but cold and windy morning at Altenbruch’s lighthouse “Dicke Bertha”. River Elbe facing Hamburg direction in early morning hours. After it got too cold, I went to the Steubenhöft which was the pier for the ships heading to America in the early 20th century.

Small articles around my photography experience
Birds in the backyard
Another very nice and sunny day. A bit cold but was doable for 2h standing outside and watch the birds at the feeder place. All pictures using the D800 and the Tamron 150-600 at f6.3 on Feisol CT-3442 with Arch Swiss D4 Head.
Birds in the backyard
Nearly last chance today for grabbing some pictures while having at least some sunshine. Using the Tamron 150-600 with the Nikon D5100.
Birds in the backyard
Finally some nice weather today. The first time to try out the Tamron 150-600 in good conditions. Using the D2x this time. All mounted on Berlebach UNI-16 with Arca Swiss D4. Pretty good sharpness with open aperture on this camera.
Bremerhaven
Some later afternoon/early evening shots from Bremerhaven. Unfortunately I left the Stabilizer on when I used the Sigma 24-105 on the tripod. Therefore around 20 shots were unusable. Above shot was taken with the Sigma 24-105. A really good lens, very flexible, sharp and good build quality.
Cuxhaven
Bad Bederkesa
Slightly foggy and very cloudy morning in Bad Bederkesa. Around the castle and at the pedal boat pier.
Cuxhaven
Quick checking the recently traded Sigma 24-105mm f4 Art. Went to the Kugelbake monument in the morning hours. All shots without tripod.
Cuxhaven: Obereversand
Another set from Obereversand. This time not as foggy as last time. A one hour session with the Voigtländer 58mm/f1.4 again showed brillant performance of the lens mounted to the D800.
Cuxhaven
Sunset evening shots in Cuxhaven close to the Kugelbake landmark. Mainly using the Voigtländer Nokton 58/1.4 with the D800 and D3.
