Siglufjörður Village (optional)

Siglufjörður is a small fishing town in a narrow fjord with the same name on the northern coast of Iceland. Driving through there to get to the next destination and get a break.

 

Dalvik (optional)

Going there to get on one of the often offered whale watching tours. The quote for humpback whales is > 90% so it might be an option to such tour. Price for 3h tour is around 60€/person.

 

Goðafoss waterfall

The Goðafoss (Icelandic: waterfall of the gods or waterfall of the goði) is one of the most spectacular waterfalls in Iceland. It is located in the Bárðardalur district of North-Central Iceland at the beginning of the Sprengisandur highland road. The water of the river Skjálfandafljót falls from a height of 12 m over a width of 30 m.
