Got my D500 today. First impression… An awesome camera. Did some quick shots using the Nikkor 500 + TC-14.

Birds in the backyard 2016
Assignation at the feeder place. Besides several Eurasian Tree Sparrows and Great Tits, a Greenfinch and a Hedge Sparrow showed up during a 1h session. Unfortunately the Long-tailed Tits did not pass by. Have only seen them once here and the shots I took are not really worth to be kept.
Ovation of the Seas
Die Ovation of the Seas sollte von Bremerhaven nach Hamburg fahren und musste daher Cuxhaven passieren. Allerdings war es schon spät am Tag und das beste Licht war schon weg.
