For some time I wanted to photograph the planetarium. Last Sunday we are among other things therefore early in the morning to Hamburg. Around 9:30 on site were also still enough parking spaces free and few people on the road. Very nice light of the morning sun in the east, perfect. From the above […]

Hamburg 44
44 hours in Hamburg. From July 6 to July 8, four of us were on the road in Hamburg. On the first day around late afternoon we went first to the Dockland. There the sun was still too high. So here is a black and white conversion of a panorama image. Taken with the GFx […]
2 acquaintances and a new one
A few shots from yesterday from Hamburg. I had already photographed the Spiegel building and the moated castle in the Speicherstadt in December 2019. Here again with the Fuji GFx and the Fujinon 32-64mm f/4. At that time I had only taken one picture of the Spiegel building with St. Nikolai in the center. This […]
Hamburg – Dancing Towers
Some pictures from yesterday’s Santa Pauli Christmas Market visit. I have to go for the Dancing Towers again with more time. Great architecture. Details… …and one time in full view.

Hamburg
Some pictures from last Saturday… Mainly using the Zeiss 25/2.8 for shooting; however, it was already late and close to noon so not the best light conditions. In Lightroom I used the Kodak Velvia 100 develop preset for some pictures.

Short visit to the Hanse-Bird fair which took place at “Elbinsel Kaltehofe”. Very nice location with some individual spots. However, shooting pictures near noon time did not turn out to capture the nice flair of the location properly. Between 1894 and 1990 the island was used to filter the water of the river Elbe. It […]
Hamburg from the top
Shots taken from the roof of the old Unilever building early morning and a second visit later the year having not so nice weather conditions. The first picture was taken through the window. A couple of shots of the building itself also included.
