Stormfront Thomas
Today’s stormfront was weaker than expected. A few smaller waves at high tide and that was it. Due to Corona also little was going on at the Kugelbake… …and because it was not so heavy as 3 days ago announced, the birds had also not quite so many problems with the wind.
Snow bunting
On Saturday I went to the nature reserve near the Kugelbake with the D500 and the 500 tele lens. The snow buntings should be back from what I’ve read. And, indeed, 10 birds were in the mudflats in search of food. Of course, the ruddy turnstones were there as well.

Wind farm Nordholz
A short test with the Zodiak 8 30mm f/3.5 on the Fuji GFX. For small money this lens doesn’t look bad.
Autumn colors 2
On last Friday morning and yesterday in the late afternoon I took some pictures in the Cuxhaven Küstenheiden. On friday only with the 50mm and yesterday a first try with the 32-64mm zoom. The zoom is really an enormous facilitation in the selection of the composition.

Somehow it doesn’t really want to get through this fall. Some trees are already very nicely colored, but most still have their dark green leaves. Well, a real Indian Summer is also not to be expected, but maybe there will be something more coming along.
