Abendliche Fahrt von Edgewater rund um Lower Manhatten und wieder zurück.
Montauk (Sonntag 24. Juni 2012)
Fahrt nach Montauk, am Ende von Long Island. Insgesamt 300 Meilen, womit ich nicht gerechnet hatte, auf dem Rückweg zeigt New York wie viele Autos es hier gibt. Völlig überlastet. Montauk ist schick, nette Umgebung, Atlantik und vor allem viel frische Luft. Der Leuchtturm wurde 1797 in Betrieb genommen.

Kleiner Rundgang durch New York. Beim letztem Mal war hauptsächlich Lower Manhatten angesagt, diesmal Richtung Central Park und danach noch unter anderem Little Italy.

Vulture feeding 4 vulture species, a Red Kite and even a Fox showed up at the feeding place. Majority were Griffon Vultures but also a good number of Lammergeiers were present. 4 Monk Vultures and 2 Egyptian Vultures also came close. Second day was only Lammergeiers showing.
