Super-resolution images from Photoshop are provided by DxO in the regular resolution. The only solution is to use an external service provider to increase the resolution (e.g. GigaPixel AI, etc.). In addition, panorama DNGs from Lightroom and everything in other formats – other than Topaz DeNoise AI – are not processed as RAW or DNG. Worth the money despite these limitations.
A few more tests with the software…. For the first image of Obereversand, taken with the Fuji GFX 50r and the 50mm f/3.5 at ISO 800, I created three crops. First “as shot”, so full processing but no noise reduction at all. Then eden same crop from the image with Lightroom NR denoised and lastly processing in DxO PureRaw. Amazing!
The software can’t do magic, but almost. In the case of the golden eagle, the details become very nicely visible without too much noise in the image. The shot with the Nikon D4 and the Nikkor 200-400 f/4.0 at ISO 3200 achieves enormous potential even in the poor conditions on location.
