On Saturday evening it finally worked out again and I could do an astro session. I wanted to photograph the Orion Nebula M42 again. This time with more environment. Last time I used the D5200 crop camera, this time I used the D800 FX.
The image shown here is the 1st try. As with the last time, I will certainly do some processing, as the core here is too bright and lacking in color and texture for me. I had imagined that with 5 seconds exposure and ISO 400 but still a little better.
It was quite cold and ice crystals had well deposited in the tube and outside.
The recording data and astrometry evaluation.
