Here are my personal favorites from the past year.

Cuxhaven Picture

The favorite for my Cuxhaven image from 2020 is the photo of the sunset at Sahlenburg beach. The clouds around the sun were phenomenal and the small Fuji X-T20 with the kit lens 18-55 left such a good impression here that I seriously started to consider switching from Nikon to Fuji.

Astropicture

There are not so many images in 2020, but the image of M42/Orion would not have been beaten. With the Skywatcher 650, the Nikon D5200 and Kenko 1.5 teleconverter I got my best astro image so far.

Special occasions

It was extraordinary to see the comet Neowise C/2020 so clearly. Here I liked the location at the lighthouse Obereversand very well. I could position easily to the lighthouse and comet. The illuminated stair really adds on to the image.

Black & White

With my favorite for b/w conversion, I decided on the image of the Bremerhaven Klimahaus. Here, everything just fit for me. Light, few people on the road, no Christmas lights and much more. The Fuji GFX with the Fujinon GF32-64mmF4 was used here.

Animal photography

In 2020 it worked and I could photograph the snow buntings at the beginning of the year and again at the end of the year. The winter guests are actually regularly at the Kugelbake on foraging. Here with the Nikon D500 and the 500PF lens.

Video

From my previous videos and also provided with a few other clips I have also compiled a summary about the drone flights in Cuxhaven. There are also three timelapse clips included.
