The day in the hide for the Bonelli’s Eagle was by far the best day of the trip. Just for that it was worth it to go to Extremadura.

Here I also managed a panorama picture from three portrait shots. The two never sat together, always at a certain distance.

It was often too close for the 300 and 500 fixed focal lengths.

A few crane pictures from the polder Bramel. Heavy cloud cover and relatively large distance are reflected in the poor quality of the pictures. The pictures were taken with the Nikon D500 on the Nikkor 500/f5.6 and the TC-14.
I haven’t seen any snow buntings yet this early morning, but I have seen larger colonies of sandpipers on rising water.
For 36 hours a photo friend was in Cuxhaven. A program was quickly put together. Landscape, birds and what else that is somewhat nice and can be done in 1.5 days.
