On Saturday we did a daytrip to Siena which we missed in 2016.
On the way to Siena we saw several marshals at street-crossings wondering what that could be for. In Buonconvento there were also a lot of audience at the street through the village. There we go, a sign told us: Mille Miglia 2017. Yes, I forgot about that “race”. Lucky we were, that Saturday the route went from Radicofani through Val d’Orcia to Siena.
In Siena there were masses at the streets trying to grab some views of the passing cars. Was nice to see that.
On our way back we stopped at the Poppyfields we were looking for and saw when we drove towards Siena.

When we came back, we did another trip through the Val d’Orcia grabbing some more shots of Podere Belvedere 🙂
