Nikkor 200-400, Sigma 150-600 & Tamron 150-600 (Part 1)
Finally received my Sigma 150-600 Sport this week. Weather was ok to run a Test with the three Telelenses on all my used cameras. Cameras used were D2x, D3 and D800. All three lenses were tested with each camera. The target was a selfmade board having a printed testchart, a small plastic puppet and a […]
Birds in the backyard
First quick test of the Sigma 150-600f5.0-6.3 Sport using the D800. No tripod used for these quick shots.
Birds in the backyard
Some shots using the D2x with Nikkor 200-400f4 plus TC-17II. Mounted on Berlebach UNI-16 with Wimberley WH200. For the first time the European Robin came somewhat to the front. Normally that little bird is always staying behind the branches. Unfortunately the snow we had in the morning was nearly gone.
Cuxhaven Kugelbake
Some pictures in the morning hours at the landmark Kugelbake. Cold but not fully clear view, still some dust. Using the Nikon D3 with the Sigma 15-30 on Feisol tripod with Arca D4 head.
Stormfront Felix
Stormfront Felix didn’t hit Cuxhaven hard. Only slightly more water during high tide on Saturday. Opportunity to run the first test with the recently bought Sigma 15-30. Some pictures of Felix influenced weekend here, more in the SmugMug Gallery… While the quality, especially in the corners, cannot compete with the Walimex 14mm it offers some […]
Seafowl in Altenbruch
Some shots from Altenbruch close to the lighthouse “Dicke Berta”. All shots using the Nikon D3 with Tamron 150-600 mounted on Berlebach UNI-16 and Wimberley WH200. Two groups of Barnacle Geese flew by (click on one of the images below for more from that gallery).
