Yesterday evening it finally worked out. After I had seen that there was a good chance of seeing auroras, I quickly dismantled my telescope and drove to Grimmershörn bay. And lo and behold, the green arc over the North Sea was easily visible.

Of course, I’m most annoyed with myself because I messed up the focus on the first shots. But well, wait for the next opportunity. But, the solar storm is still going on…
