Last Wednesday I made several attempts with the Fuji X-T20 and the Nikon 1 J4 at the Maksutov 1300mm. It still doesn’t quite want to succeed…

When shooting with the Fuji camera, I partially managed to remove the Newtonian rings, but still the edge area is a bit flat, not very pronounced and too dark. Maybe it is also due to the telescope.

The J4 was a bit surprising, especially that it managed to focus more or less 🙂

The upper image was taken directly at the Maksutov, i.e. with 1300mm (at Crop 2.7!). The following detail image was taken with the 1300mm plus 2x Barlow lens from Omegon (that would be an equivalent image angle of 7020mm).
