Last night I tried – again without success – with NLCs. This time I stood at the beginning of the Grimmershörn bay with view to the Kugelbake, because here the area in the sky was a bit more cloud free.

With the water rising, several ships made their way up the Elbe in the direction of Hamburg.

In summer, the sun does not set completely here. Beautiful to see on the horizon, although it was already midnight.

Yesterday the weather was finally good enough for us to drive the 300km to East Westphalia to photograph two Gehry architectures. First stop was in Bad Oeynhausen at the Forum Energie Innovation. Then we went to the MARTa Herford… … and back to Bad Oeynhausen once again.
A picture from today in the early afternoon. A panorama of 7 individual images with the Fuji GFX and the Zeiss Biometar 80mm on the Hartblei adapter. After cropping, this resulted in an image with 35158×5868 pixels.
It was actually supposed to be the Komet 12P/Pons-Brooks. But the clouds put a spanner in the works. The sky over Neuwerk, on the other hand, was largely clear.
