Light fog, medium and high clouds, a gap for the sun…. what more could you want? Early morning round trip via Groden, Altenbruch, Lüdingworth and Altenwalde in beautiful weather for photography.

Groden Marsh

For the start I went over the “Alte Marsch” in the direction of Altenbrucher Canal. I had the – probably struck by lightning – tree already longer on my list, but that had never really fit from the weather. This time for the Fuji GFx exactly as I had imagined.

The picture above was taken with the Fuji XT-3 and the “kit lens” 18-55. I continued towards “Dicke Bertha” in Altenbruch.

Altenbruch Canal

The location at the Altenbruch canal I had also for some time on the list. That it then also becomes so nice, I would not necessarily have dreamed of.

From Altenbruch, I then went to Lüdingworth, where I again had an image in mind for some time. Not quite as I had thought, but still quite worth seeing.

Abandoned farm in Lüdingworth

On the way back via Altenwalde I had to take a few pictures of the Altenbruch wind farm.

Finally, again an image I have been thinking about for a while, a short stop at the “Old Gate House” (built in 1786).
