Last night, I tried my hand at the Rosette Nebula. Instead of the usual Nikon D5200 I had put on the Nikon D800 this time. The nebula has a large extension and with the crop camera the angle of view might have been too small.

Of the 75 lights originally made, only 44 were ultimately usable. Due to wind and homemade influences, the remaining images were not accurate enough.

After a hearty breakfast at Drangstedter Tannenhof, a short visit to Bad Bederkesa station, where the museum train is currently parked. Unfortunately, the locomotive was not there. Yesterday the weather was finally good enough for us to drive the 300km to East Westphalia to photograph two Gehry architectures. First stop was in Bad Oeynhausen at the Forum Energie Innovation. Then we went to the MARTa Herford… … and back to Bad Oeynhausen once again.
A picture from today in the early afternoon. A panorama of 7 individual images with the Fuji GFX and the Zeiss Biometar 80mm on the Hartblei adapter. After cropping, this resulted in an image with 35158×5868 pixels.
