Today I saw for the first time in the nature reserve area the European Bisons that are settled there. Stately animals.
Unfortunately the surroundings are not very suitable for taking pictures and the animals are also very shy.

A few crane pictures from the polder Bramel. Heavy cloud cover and relatively large distance are reflected in the poor quality of the pictures. The pictures were taken with the Nikon D500 on the Nikkor 500/f5.6 and the TC-14.
I haven’t seen any snow buntings yet this early morning, but I have seen larger colonies of sandpipers on rising water.
