Lucky find! In Cuxhaven’s nature reserve I could photograph a yellowhammer this morning. On the tree next to it there was also a female blood linnet.

It won’t go well for long, because the deciduous trees are already strongly lashing out, then it will be difficult to photograph the birds in the branches.
A few crane pictures from the polder Bramel. Heavy cloud cover and relatively large distance are reflected in the poor quality of the pictures. The pictures were taken with the Nikon D500 on the Nikkor 500/f5.6 and the TC-14.
I haven’t seen any snow buntings yet this early morning, but I have seen larger colonies of sandpipers on rising water.
