Jökulsárlón

Jökulsárlón (literally “glacial river lagoon”) is a large glacial lake in southeast Iceland, on the edge of Vatnajökull National Park. It is one of the top must sees in Iceland.

Morning hours at Jökulsárlón.

Lens to be used here can range from very wide angle to longer focal for details. Showing 15mm below.

Dyrhólaey

In front of the peninsula Dyrhólaey, there is a gigantic black arch of lava standing in the sea, which gave the peninsula its name (meaning: the hill-island with the door-hole). In the summertime, many puffins nest on the cliff faces of Dyrhólaey.

Skógafoss waterfall

The Skógafoss is one of the biggest waterfalls in the country with a width of 25 m and a drop of 60 m. Due to the amount of spray the waterfall consistently produces, a single or double rainbow is normally visible on sunny days.

Lens to be used there would be around 50 to 60mm so the Sigma Zoom might work out.
