Finally I got mine. Ordered in early February this year, it didn’t get to my local dealer for the Africa trip, so I cancelled the order. Then re-ordered in June and it arrived mid October… Well done Tamron 🙁
Quite good quality doing some quick test shots (freehand and tripod). Not like the Nikkor 200-400 but a very good companion to that lens.
The additionally ordered Sigma 150-600 Sport will have a hard time to beat this one, but surprises are welcome. Will test the three once I get the Sigma.
Gallery shows 5 shots with a 100% crop of each picture. All taken with D3 – first 4 pictures free hand using stabilizer, last one mounted on Berlebach UNI-16.
