Last full day here in the camp. Tomorrow we have to leave. If I could rebook the flight, I would have considered to stay another day or 2 or 3…
We try again to concentrate on the Leopard but for a last time, no luck. We will try the Cheetah later today and also in the evening, when she might go out for hunting again.
The evening drive takes us again to the Cheetah. Before we get there we see a Black-White Casqued Hornbill (not very commonly seen). It’s a couple at their nest.
Now we turn towards the Cheetah place. Lots of cars already waiting for her to hunt but the Thompson’s Gazellas seem to have a sixth sense and move away.
What can I say, she failed again…
Now Jackson has a huge surprise for us. A Sundowner… Having some wine (ok, not me) while the sun sets. And today it does, not all cloudy as the other evenings.
