USA 2012 (June and July)

Business trip from June 19th to July 13th to Englewood Cliffs.

 

New York City

One day walking around in New York City and some shots taken during Hudson Cruise, from Weehawken and Boat Bassin close to the George Washington Bridge.

Montauk

Day trip to Montauk (also labeled as “The End”) far out to the east of Long Island.

Butterfly at the parking lot

A very nice Spicebush Swallowtail (Papilio troilus) was flying around the flowers at the parking lot. Watched it throughout the week and went there with my camera on a weekend.

 

Bird Shots

Several bird shots taken at diverse locations. Montauk, Great Kills Park (Staten Island), Stateline Lookout, Edwin B. Forsythe National Wildlife Refuge and Great Swamp National Wildlife Refuge were on my list to drive to. However, it was far too hot to stay at most of the good spots.
