In the late morning in the nature reserve, a European Stonechat sat in the trees.

The light was of course already very harsh. Especially with the meadow pipit that was also seen.

At first I thought the blood linnet was a Dunnock, but I am pretty sure that it is a female blood linnet.

A few crane pictures from the polder Bramel. Heavy cloud cover and relatively large distance are reflected in the poor quality of the pictures. The pictures were taken with the Nikon D500 on the Nikkor 500/f5.6 and the TC-14.
I haven’t seen any snow buntings yet this early morning, but I have seen larger colonies of sandpipers on rising water.
