I was looking (again) for some Northern Lights, but wasn’t lucky with that. While waiting, I took some pictures of the Kugelbake monument with the stars above. Definitely a shot I will do another time with some better conditions.

The shot was taken with the D850 and the Zeiss 18/f3.5.
Yesterday the weather was finally good enough for us to drive the 300km to East Westphalia to photograph two Gehry architectures. First stop was in Bad Oeynhausen at the Forum Energie Innovation. Then we went to the MARTa Herford… … and back to Bad Oeynhausen once again.
A picture from today in the early afternoon. A panorama of 7 individual images with the Fuji GFX and the Zeiss Biometar 80mm on the Hartblei adapter. After cropping, this resulted in an image with 35158×5868 pixels.
It was actually supposed to be the Komet 12P/Pons-Brooks. But the clouds put a spanner in the works. The sky over Neuwerk, on the other hand, was largely clear.
