The Simon Loschen lighthouse is the oldest German land-based lighthouse at the northern coast that is still operating. Planning for a shooting whenever the weather gets better 🙂

The position should work good in the morning hours when the lighthouse gets the first sunlight.

First position will require a Shift-Lens as it is very close to the lighthouse. The 24mm PC-E will probably be a bit too wide, so I might use it in portrait mode.

The second position is a distance shot across the harbour, so will need no ships at the docks. This shot will probably work in the late afternoon when the sun disappears behind the dike; however, it will also work fine in the morning hours, like the first one.

Here the Tamron 70-200 or one of the smaller tele-lenses as the Samyang 135mm will work.
