Besides, behind the fence to the rear cattle sat a few wheatears, but a little far away, so just documentary. But it is certainly worth to have a closer look there.

A few crane pictures from the polder Bramel. Heavy cloud cover and relatively large distance are reflected in the poor quality of the pictures. The pictures were taken with the Nikon D500 on the Nikkor 500/f5.6 and the TC-14.
I haven’t seen any snow buntings yet this early morning, but I have seen larger colonies of sandpipers on rising water.
