I had already my doubts when weather forecast was showing clouds coming in from the north over the northern part of Germany. Anyways, I got up at 4:15 to drive to the lighthouse in Dorum-Neufeld for some shots of the eclipse. I arrived shortly after 5:15 having another 30 minutes until the total eclipse should happen. When I had my tripod setup (stupid me I forgot my headlight, so I had to do all setup in the dark), some cirrus already moved between my location and the moon starting to show aureole around the moon. When the eclipse was happening, the aureole was already over the whole moon.

It was very cold and the wind did the rest, so I packed up as it would get worse in the next hour, leaving me with one 15 second shot at ISO 1600 (not ideal).
