Tuscany 2017 – Day 2

On the second day, I wanted to concentrate mainly on the previously defined locations. Therefore, we went to the first location of my list. Before sunrise we reached the location to shoot Podere Belvedere where all photographers meet at that time (about 10 were there or arrived later).

Shortly before sunrise we went to the location which intended to use for the morning shot. I haven’t seen much pictures which were taken from Via Cerrecchio and there were no photographers there.

After the sun got too high we had a look from Pienza Gallery into the valley. While the view into the valley is stunning from there, it does not work very good for pictures as the foreground does not offer much.

The rest of the day we took another round trip up to Crete Senesi looking for some open country poppies near Monteroni.

For some evening shots we went again to Podere Belvedere.
