The western and southern part of the area does offer lots of nice and old lighthouses which should be nice to take pictures of. Hoping for some higher waves in the sea for those days. We’ll see…
Pointe de Kermorvan
Close to Le Conquet this lighthouse can be visited several times. There are multiple locations which offer nice views to it. This can be easily explored during the stay.
Pointe Saint Mathieu
Not my favorite location to shoot but as it is close to Le Conquet it will be on the list.
Le Phare du Petit Minou
A definitely must have. Very nice surroundings and the lighthouse itself is very nice. As it is only 20 minutes by car, this can be done several times during the stay.
Daytrip to Phare de i’lle Vierge, Phare du Four and Phare de Pontusval
These 2 locations will require some long lens usage as both lighthouses are far out in the sea (1.5 kilometer and 2.2 kilometer). Clear weather is of course another requirement for those locations.
Phare de i’lle Vierge
Out in the sea on an island this is the tallest lighthouse in Europe, so, a definite must have.
The sun conditions allow for both times of the day.
The second possible location might show better in morning light or when the sun gets down in the scene. We’ll see once there and how we can schedule the smaller trips to the locations.
Phare du Four
At this location a long lens is required to get the lighthouse isolated. I might take the 200-400 Nikkor with me because it might offer also some opportunities in othe locations. The Phare du Four can be done in the morning as well as in the evening. Evening shot will have the sun going down left side of the lighthouse from the chosen location while morning hours will have the light directly towards the lighthouse.
Phare de Pontusval
This lighthouse is not at the priority list but is listed to have some alternative if time permits to do this location as well.

Daytrip to Pointe du Raz
This location is a good drive from Le Conquet but might be worth to do a daytrip to there. Several lighthouses and a nice surrounding area might have all we need for a full day trip.
